Latch Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Latch (LatchID), including latchid.com, auth.latchid.com, the console, and hosted authentication features. “We” refers to the team operating Latch; contact auth@wrooms.ai. By using Latch, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Latch provides application-specific authentication through supported identity providers and integration tools. Available providers depend on configuration, provider approval, and service availability. A successful sign-in identifies a provider account; it is not a guarantee of a person's legal identity, eligibility, or trustworthiness. Connected applications and identity providers are separate services with their own terms.

Accounts and integration responsibilities

Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. Application owners must configure allowed origins and callbacks accurately, keep server secrets out of browser code, validate authentication results on their backend, protect their own sessions, and obtain any required user permissions. You are responsible for applications and activity under your control. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Do not share passwords or secrets with support.

Acceptable use

Do not use Latch for unlawful activity, phishing, impersonation, unauthorized account access, deceptive consent, or collection of information without authorization. Do not bypass security controls, interfere with the service, or misuse provider trademarks. Test only systems you are authorized to test. We may limit or suspend activity that threatens security, violates these terms or provider requirements, or creates legal obligations.

Privacy and provider requirements

Our Privacy Policy explains Latch's handling of information. Application owners must give users accurate disclosures about their applications and comply with applicable privacy laws and identity-provider rules. Managed connections do not transfer ownership of a provider registration to you or guarantee provider approval of your application.

Fees and changes

Any pricing shown as a preview is informational and does not itself enroll you in a paid plan. Charges or subscriptions require a separate applicable purchase agreement or checkout acceptance. We may change features, limits, or availability and will provide notice where appropriate or required. Identity providers may independently change or discontinue their services.

Ownership

You retain rights to your application and content. Latch and its licensors retain rights to the service and branding. Provider names and logos belong to their respective owners. Any separately distributed software license governs that software; these terms do not replace it. You permit us to process the information and configurations you provide as needed to deliver and secure Latch.

Ending use

You may stop using Latch and contact us about account closure. Application owners should plan an alternative sign-in method before removing a connection or deleting an application. Ending Latch access does not automatically delete accounts or terminate sessions maintained by connected applications. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risks, or legal requirements.

Service limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Latch is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free service. You should maintain appropriate backups and recovery methods. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Any separate written service agreement may provide additional commitments.
